Essential Skills in Medical Education (ESME) STUDENTS Online course Organized by the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) Students’ engagement in teaching/training is nowadays recognized as a powerful way to improve the adoption of “Best-Evidence Medical Education” (BEME). The « ESME Student Online course » of the AMEE aims to affirm and motivate students’ interest in teaching, and to equip them with key-concepts and practical tools to actively participate with teachers to innovate and improve the quality of education in their medical schools. Students will be engaged in webminars and online discussions, active reading of key-articles, and self-reflection exercises with written assignments. Satisfactory completion of the course will result in the award of an AMEE-ESME Certificate in medical education in recognition of the participant’s achievement.
