21 students and coordinators from IUHW visit UHS
On Monday, 05 August 2019, a total of 21 students and coordinators from the International University of Health and Welfare, Japan, has visited the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Tthe delegation of study visit was welcomed by Assist. Prof. Eang Rothmouny, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, head of Student Affairs, representative of His Excellency Professor Rector of the UHS at the University of Health Sciences, and attended by officials and staffs of the UHS.
The organizing group had shared some presentations to delegates including briefing and orientation about UHS, Medical Education at Faculty of Medicine of UHS and a brief overview of public health care system in Cambodia.
In the afternoon of the same day, the study visit delegation had joined Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) group to learn about PAL Program from students at the Faculty of Medicine then had a tour at control room for E-exams center, followed by visits to Microbiology Labs (CMML and Mérieux). And the students ended their visit at Pharmaceutical Technology Skill and Simulation Laboratory, Faculty of Pharmacy.
In the evening, a welcome dinner was organized by UHS for the delegation of study visit with the presence of UHS management team, study visit organizing committee as well as students of UHS. On that occasion, there were presentations of traditional dances by a group of 10 students from the UHS and presentation of game by students from IUHW followed by game playing joined by all students to enhance memory as well as to get a very close friendship among students from the two Universities.
